Paracord is no longer considered just for the guys. You know, as in survival bracelets. There are smaller sizes and they come in a whole range of colors and patterns these days. But have you ever considered stripping out the inner core of paracord so it becomes a fabulous flat wrapping material?
That's exactly what Christina of DIY Passions for Fashion did. Her rhinestone bracelet tutorial uses the now flatterned paracord outer to wrap a rhinestone bracelet around a European leather cord.
Also note she uses a type of cigar shaped magnetic glue on clasp which finishes off her design very neatly indeed.
The tutorial is in Danish. So open up the tutorial in Chrome and right click anywhere on the page. Then select translate to English. But really, her pictures are so clear, you can figure things out.
