I've covered Native American inspired dreamcatcher jewelry tutorials before (see links below). Earrings though are a particular challenge due to the smaller sizes involved.  But it can be done! Sonysree Creations has a marvelous DIY to inspire.



The tutorial is in two parts. Part 1 shows how she created the string web.  She makes the webbing really evenly spaced with the help of her finger and thumb! Part 2 is about the beaded frame and the fringe which she makes using 11/0 seed beads.

The designer mentions the source (no longer available) of conveniently notched small earring hoops (in different sizes) to use.   You can also use plain (unnotched) hoops or your own handmade wire frame. Consider making larger ones for pendants too.
