Wire knit/crochet isn't for everyone. But quite a lot of you love the challenge and the look of the beautiful wire work produced with Yoola Design's looms and entered last week's huge giveaway for several tutorials.  The ISK (invisible spool knitting) technique has several advantages over Viking Knit but you are limited only to fine gauge wire. See my review here comparing the two techniques.

ISK also goes beyond tubes as you can see from all the different designs created by Yael Falk.

One reader, Lorraine Gonda, said, "I have been enjoying the ISK technique for a little while. This is so much easier than the viking knit and more versatile and Yael has come up with more creative ideas on using these looms...cutting them and reassembling is something I would not have thought to do, but it seems to present another way to create new shapes. I wonder if she will eventually make looms in various shapes."

That is a good question. The looms are 3D printed so the possibility is always there.

So who won?  I numbered all the eligible entries and got the random number generator over on random.org to pick the winner.  And the winner is sis5of11!  Congratulations!
