Polymer clay jewelry designs are typically bold, colorful and often textured. Yet, this versatile medium can also fulfill the other end of the spectrum.  Designs can be minimalist - simple shapes and subtle or muted colors.  Such are the designs of Latvian polymer clay jewelry designer, Ieva Ancane.  Her Etsy store  Iebis, shows off her particular style of minimalist pieces.

Minimalist might look simple but it actually takes some effort and talent to come up with such designs. I particularly love Ieva's attention to detail - small cube beads help center some of her designs.

Polymer clay is a form of plastic so it is very light.  Statement without the weight!
