There is a benefit to being friends with Helen Breil, the polymer clay artist and designer. I actually get to see in real life her beautiful pendants! And we get to talk shop at our lunch dates! Her new silkscreens and texture stamp designs - a collaborative effort with her partner, Mike - are fabulous.
I remember taking part in Helen's survey where she crowd sourced about 1000 people on potential designs. Well worth doing as the final picks are lovely. You can purchase the silkscreens and texture plates from suppliers around the world:
The new 2018 silkscreens were launched under the Pixie Art Banner. The designs range from tribal to modern.
Below is Helen's distinctive polymer clay pendant design using the Refractive Silkscreen. You do not have to be into polymer clay to use her silkscreens! They can be used for all kinds of small craft projects. See my tutorial on how I used one of her silkscreens to make translucent resin jewelry!
Also check out Helen's wonderful online classes which uses her various silkscreen and texture stamps :
Helen designed the 3 new texture stamps - these will definitely interest those working with clay - polymer clay, metal clay and ceramic!! I found it hard to pick a favorite. Don't you?
Here is Helen's beautiful pendant using the Dance Floor texture stamp.
