Wire Wrapped Violin Pendant

Lucie of WireUpGem is a Canadian wire work jewelry designer and seasoned instructor based in Toronto. What caught my attention were her lovely musical instrument inspired wire wrapped pendants.  

They feature the string instruments - the violin, ukelele and guitar. Her Swarovski crystal guitar pendant sparkles! These make perfect gifts for anyone who loves or teaches music.

How did she get started?  Lucie said, "I guess I was just a jewelry addict, I bought them, I made them, I remodeled whatever I had, there was no such thing as enough jewelry.... well, until some point. One day I realized, I had enough! ...and because I am a mom of two handsome, smart boys. You know what that means, right? I CAN'T make jewelry for them!"  I didn't agree with her last statement!  You can make jewelry for interested boys and men  if you design more masculine pieces.  See some ideas here.
