I am reposting this as a couple of subscribers said they could not see most of the post.  I now think it could be just a Blogger glitch.

Many of you were keen to learn about Flitz as a way of shining jewelry - especially before selling! So I hope my little experiments shown in last week's giveaway helped show how handy it is to have some of this eco friendly polish around.

Mary Ann Helmond has used Flitz before. She said, "I use Flitz polish on the decorative part of silver plated earring findings. It makes them look more shiny and helps to protect the surface." That is a good point.  Flitz not only cleans but protects. Whereas Renaissance wax just protects.

Aims had a good question, "I'm wondering if you could use a toothbrush on the chain maille with the polish. I wonder how that would work..." Yes, you could use a soft toothbrush to apply the polish on chain maille. The brush will certainly help spread the polish around. But I would buff with a cloth. The good thing about chain maille is the captured jump rings rotate so you can pretty well clean the whole piece in time.

So who won the bottle of Flitz polish?  I numbered all the eligible entries and got the random number generator over on random.org to do the picking. The lucky winner is Rochelleth!  Congratulations!
