Odd numbers often work well in designs. That includes triangles which have 3 sides. Check out these 3 beaded triangle tutorials. All of them are not in English so you will have to watch the videos carefully.
The first , an advanced project, is my favorite which is an iris flower inspired brooch. It uses 11/0 beads and 2 3 mm round crystalsThe 3D style makes it a standout - literally. The instructor does not show how to add the brooch finding.
The second one is by Elena Steshenko. It is simpler! The inspiration, if you haven't already guessed it, is Celtic knotwork. Also made with 11/0 beads.
The last but not least, is the tutorial by Liubov Zabara. This wavy triangle earrings design uses 10/0 and 6/O beads. If you have difficult getting 10/O beads, check out Czech Beads Exclusive. They also have an Etsy store. Their international flat rate shipping is just US$4.47.

The Iris flower brooch is exciting. She also uses 15/0 beads, the pearl ones. If you expand the "more" section and then use "translate" you can see a little better listing of the supplies that she uses.
