I had so much fun coming up with 10 Halloween laser cut wood designs that when the holidays grew nearer, I knew I had to do Christmas themed ones!  These are round with ornament style tops.

As no two snowflakes are alike, I went with 10 very different snowflake designs. These are available as a set of 10 only.


Use them as small ornaments or add jewelry findings and make them earrings or pendants! Earrings do not have to be matching!


I painted mine in white, metallic gold or silver - see my past post on sanding, painting etc tips.  I found Gilder's Paste did not work as well as it did for my tombstone effect of the Halloween laser cuts. But what made the holiday laser cuts extra sparkly was glitter glue!

I didn't have any glitter glue on hand. But it is easy enough to DIY glitter glue. I just mixed some glitter with Mod Podge and a few drops of water. You can add as much glitter or as little as you like.


The 10 different Christmas themed laser cuts are available as a set of 10 or in smaller quantities.


Santa Claus took me several attempts to get right. In the end, I added laser score lines to help demarcate his facial features and hat. The score lines also help you paint.

And who better to pair with Santa Claus than Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! Note that all my Christmas designs are available in pairs of the same design or mixed as shown below. Your choice!

The easiest pair to paint is the Christmas tree and Gingerbread Man wood cuts.


The glitter effect is supposed to mimic a dusting of snow. But when I first saw the Gingerbread man as I uploaded the photo to the blog, the glitter made it look deliciously like a real sugar frosted one. I actually had to get up from my computer for a cookie!



The glitter looks very different in artificial light. At night, the painted and glittered laser cuts sparkled!  I tried to capture the difference with the angel necklace below by taking the photo under my photo studio's LED lights.  (All the other photos were taken in natural light using my iPhone 8+)




Frosty the Snowman was also a tricky design. Who would have thought it would take a long time for just a simple snowman?  But I had to get the right jaunty angle to his hat, the right grin and twiggy arms!

The Nativity Scene and the 3 Wise Men are the two most delicate designs made possible because of the laser cutter's precision cutting capabilities.


Make sure you do not pull the hanging ribbons too hard when attaching them to the laser cuts to make them into ornaments.

 Please note : Quantities are limited as I will not be able to cut more until the laser cutter becomes available again hopefully by next week.  They are currently upgrading the ventilation system of the laser cutting room at the moment.

Photography 
I used  my iPhone 8+ for final product photography in natural light. I used  the Orangemonkie studio which comes equipped with LED lights - for artificial light photography in my windowless basement studio. The Foldio2 Plus is excellent . I use the Foldio3 because I need the room for tutorial photography.
