The Cleveland, Ohio silversmith behind ForestCitySilverCo calls himself with the delightfully appropriate, Jewels Verne! There are many styles in his shop but what drew my attention was his skill at micro inlay (mosaic) and micro pavé work.
His colorful micro inlay sterling silver rings are beautifully set with many tiny pieces of gemstones such as opals and black onyx. Designs range from whimsical to geometric.
The above design is a ring and this is a link bracelet below :
Only when we see his pieces modeled do we realize how small micro inlay pieces are!
Most of his micro pavé work are created with sterling silver and cubic zirconias, making these pieces affordable.
But he also offers fine jewelry such as this diamond pavé art deco and snake rings below.

I'm in awe of this art work. Much of it reminds me of native American mosaic work which I have collected over the years. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning work!
ReplyDeleteI went to the website and was absolutely shocked at how low the prices are for this amount of work. Even using cubic zirconias it's still incredibly time consuming.
I admit I drooled over many of his pieces!
