Aren't these polymer clay sweater ornaments adorable?  The tutorial is by Gloria Uhler of Domestic Diva Online.  They are made from polymer clay with alcohol ink and mica powders for color.  You can certainly personalize the colors and perhaps the images for gifts! Her instructions show you how to make raised images on the clay.

She provides Silhouette and svg cut files in 2 sizes to make the stencil designs easier to cut but you can also manually cut out the shapes with her free PDF.

Also check out her tips and tricks on using stencils on polymer clay. The clear plastic helps control the added pigments.

Update : Gloria sent me this rather appropriate gift for my tree!  Thank you! It looks fabulous!
