Horseshoes have been considered lucky probably for as long as people have been shoeing horses.  This clever design tutorial by Vietnamese wire artist, Lan Anh, not only has the distinctive U shape of the horse shoe, but she has also added crystals to the design for extra color.

Also consider adapting the design so that you can attach pendant on both sides of the horseshoe to chain lengths.



Cheryl St Pierre has a simpler take on the the horseshoe using wire swirls and side drilled crystals.  I like the possibility of making these smaller and using short chain lengths to attach to ear wires.
