Pineapples are trending these days. Why not?  They are delicious to eat and they are rather unique to look at!  Shown here are three different beaded pineapple earrings tutorials. Fun for a Hawaiian themed party or just simply fun to chase away the winter doldrums.

The first tutorial  is by Juliet Erskine of @Julesandrose.

Like Juliet's tutorial, the second tutorial also uses internal beads as the foundations. But this Рукоделие ТV video is not in English.

You know what I would do?  I would combine the rounder chenille stitch version above and team it with the leaf spikes of the tutorial below!

The third tutorial is actually a simple wire work design with the beads strung across the open frame. It is by HeatherBoydWire.

Check out EmmyMadeinJapan's demo on how to cut up a pineapple 3 different ways. The first way is very inefficient where you have to get out each small section of pineapple. The second sliced pineapple method with the eyes cut out in a spiral is how most Asians cut the fruit. This one minimizes fruit loss in the preparation. The third and fastest method involves removing the eyes by cutting deeper into the fruit.

She also shares several cool facts about the pineapple at the beginning. Did you know that the pineapple is actually made up of several fruits clumped together?
