I have featured Australian wire artist, Erin of EarringsbyErin before. Many of her designs are increasingly influenced by New Zealand Maori art. Her wire jewelry tutorials certainly reflect her interest in swirly motifs.
Erin's back with a tutorial giveaway for a lucky winner! Which would you choose? Something for earrings or for a pendant? Her earrings designs can also be used as a pendant.
One of my favorites is her bead cap tutorial. It's hard to find just the right bead cap for a briolette. So why not a handmade wire one?

ReplyDeleteSuch exquisite artwork. I just love the intricate details, and look like heirloom jewelry. I am intrigued by all designs featured, but I have quite a selection of undrilled and unusually shaped cabs so the cab frame really speaks to me.
ReplyDeleteI hope everyone is well, and continues to be during this madness. We need our art now more than ever, thank you for sharing.

The Koru - or Circle of Life - is such a beautiful part of New Zealand culture. When we visited there we saw it everywhere - from the unfurling silverferns to the art work - to gorgeous tattoos. Even Air New Zealand incorporates it on their planes.
ReplyDeleteIt's a perpetual motion that conveys the circle of life perfectly.
