New York based Beverly Wise of Moxiestudiodesigns is a talented metal work jewelry designer.  While she has a great many designs in her shop, what really stands out are her gorgeous acid etched copper designs.

She hand cuts the copper shapes before etching her designs on to the metal. She hand paints every piece and dips each into a protective coating twice over to seal and protect the colors.

Beverly explains how she got started, "My passion for making jewelry started about seven years ago when I hosted a jewelry party in my home. A woman came in, set up some tables and loaded them up with beautiful creations. I thought "wow" how lucky she is to be able to do what she loves and earn money for it too!

 Since then, I have been making everything from beaded jewelry, purses, pet beds and stenciled dishes. It wasn't until I started metalsmithing that I found my true passion; working with mixed metals and various textures and stamps. The possibilities are limitless. Whether it's the color of beads, shaping of the wire or texture of the metal, there's something for everyone to show off their Moxie." Now we know how her shop got its name!
