Long time readers might well remember when I featured an unusual beadwork designer who offers beaded eyelash kits. The eyebrows offer another canvas for beadwork artists! This idea came from Chelsey Moon who is an Ojibway from the Bay Mills Native American Community in Northern Michigan.
As she said in the CBC.CA post, "It’s OK to take things we regard as traditional and add 21st century spins on them." And why not?
She explains in her video how she created her beaded eyebrow with some makeup preparation before attaching the beads, one at a time, with eyelash glue. I think it will be faster if one bead weave an eyebrow strip as one piece. That way, it will be easier to attach and detach for future use.
