Do you like other crafts like sewing, knitting and crochet? I crochet hats for myself. I have used buttons to decorate newsboy style hats but there are some styles which are begging for some yarn flowers.
Check out these clever and easy yarn flower tutorials using forks! They are all pearl centered but one could also add more elaborate beadwork. Or consider sewing on some beads at the edges as well.
The first tutorial (pictured above) is by Nakshi Kantha World. This one takes longest as the yarn woven along the fork tines forms just one petal. So the process has to be repeated. But the flower is lovely!
DIY Fashion Galley's tutorial just uses the width of the fork to form each petal. You could substitute the fork with a ruler.
Merry Craft's yarn flower tutorial also uses the width of the fork but it is a very quick method. I think more than one flower can be stacked one on top of the other for a fuller look.
I like Ider Alves' woven fork flower tutorial the best as the flower looks so pretty.
