How to Make a Heart Head Pin and Pendant Tutorial

Making your own head pins not only saves you money, but you will also be able to have unique handmade ones.

I really like this simple heart head pin tutorial by Canadian designer  Cheryl St Pierre of majesticwireartworksShe makes really tight and even wire scrolls.

This instructor teaches wire newbies well as she takes her time to show how to achieve those neat turns. You can use a marker pen to temporarily mark where you need to bend the wire for the bottom of the heart.

Here is a wonderful example of how to use her heart pin and create a simple yet elegant pendant :

  1. Hi, Pearl, hope you're doing well! I've made many of Cheryl's designs (and my customers reeeeeally like them). I found that once I'd practised enough and achieved what I call "finger memory", her designs seem to make themselves.
