Love the look of ceramic jewelry but not keen on learning pottery and getting a kiln? There is a way you can get the style. Nunn Design has a brilliant tutorial on how to make faux ceramic jewelry using just resin clay and resin.
Also clever is the use of molds to get the pattern. The lightly colored translucent resin applied over the impressed resin clay is what gives the pieces the glazed look of ceramic.
Below is the short video of the process.
Nunn Design has wholesale supplies with a no minimum Monday once a month. You can also get retail quantities of their bezels from these suppliers. Nunn Design also makes their own resin kit.
I generally purchase larger quantities of resin clay but Crystal Clay comes in smaller amounts.
