Hélène Jeanclaude is an extraordinary polymer clay jewelry designer from France. Her Flickr photostream is outstanding.  She also has a blog

She also teaches through her tutorials on her Youtube channel.  One standout is her faux ivory polymer clay curved tube tutorial. The key to how she gets the ivory look is the mix of an opaque and a translucent clay.

Hélène also demonstrates her method of making curved tubes and how to get the decorative texture suggesting a carved look.  Bonus - she shows how to finish the clasp ends using coiled wire tubes. Manifique!

She also has a couple of tutorials on her Etsy, LesEthiopiques
