Anne Lazenby of Bead Diagrams is a wonderful beadwork jewelry designer whose work I have featured before. One of her most stellar designs is this versatile gemstone chip and beads necklace tutorial.
It is so cleverly simple in its construction, yet stunning in completion. The side rows of pearls gradually widen the necklace at the front. Then a wired in focal holds all those chip strands together.
