ArgusCollection's Gorgeous Real Flower Resin Cabochon and Beadwork Bezel Class Giveaway

I've been drooling over several goodies from Canadian supplier, ArgusCollection . In particular, the amazing array of pendants and cabochons.  Among those lovelies are gorgeous real flower resin jewelry. The composition are very, very good.

This special giveaway from Argus Collection focuses on their One of a Kind collection of real resin flower jewelry handmade by a Russian artisan exclusively for this supplier. You can also find them by typing in "One of a Kind" in the search field of their Etsy store.

These cabochons can be made into focals in different ways. You could drill a hole for a bail or glue one on at the back.  Wire wrapped bezels are another option.  Beaded bezels are also possible as you can see from these examples here.

The cabochons are tall sided i.e. thicker than most cabochons to accommodate the dried botanicals.

The beaded bezel work has to adapt to that. Therefore this giveaway of one One of a Kind cabochon will also include the special Zoom class on June 9 with Peggy Stirling. A combined value of $47-50 depending on which cabochon you choose.

The technique you'll learn from Peggy will also help you bezel anything thicker like geodes and other thick cabochons.

The instructions from Quinn in the listing states:
Step one: Put class in cart. I will email you the Zoom link plus instructions.
Step two: Choose your cabochon by searching One of a Kind in this shop.

Argus Collection began as a mother (Alison) and daughter (Quinn) collaboration but it is Quinn who is the one who started it all and who now runs the business.

Quinn explained about her passion for beading:

I fell in love with beading and jewellery making after a difficult time in my life. All those little beads and findings helped get me through it. I am deaf so it was difficult for me to take classes and the whole Zoom thing hadn't happened yet. But I used books and magazine to learn the various techniques. From there it was a short step into selling my jewellery at summer art and craft shows. I graduated just as the pandemic hit! A lousy time to look for a job.
I had so much inventory from years of beading that I decided to open an Etsy shop to sell some of it and make a bit of money. Wow. I didn't expect the incredible response. I kept adding items, especially Delica beads and lots of lovely customers kept coming. You make me happy and when you love something I send you, it gives my life meaning.

  2. These are amazing! I have often wished for the time and talent to create cabs like that, but have my work cut out for me learning and improving beading techniques. This is a wonderful opportunity for the winner whom, selfishly, I hope is me.

  16. I've been coveting the dandelion cab for awhile. I appreciate its beauty in resin rather than in my lawn, lol! The cab beading class is an excellent addition, particularly to learn how to bead thicker cabs. Thanks Argus and Pearl for the giveaway.
