Don't you find it so frustrating when you cannot get a jump ring onto the end of a fine chain? You know it should fit but the fingers just won't coordinate.
Well, here is a simple trick from the Metalsmity Society on Instagram. Easy peasy!
The tool is a metal scribe which is typically used to mark lines on metal, plastic, glass and ceramics. Here it is used to gently round out the jump ring from the inside i.e. slightly widening it.
If you don't have this tool, find a small household nail!
