Yes, there is. Thanks to DIY by Bhabana, a simpler design using the herringbone stitch is available through her tutorial. Another bonus - 8/0 and 10/0 bead sizes are used so beginners will not have to struggle with tiny 15/0 beads.
Did you notice the spaces at each corner of the triangles? I like them as they are as they are part of the design. But if you don't, I wonder if one could add additional beads at each corner after the triangles are completed?
