I'll be the first to admit, I am personally not fond of the polymer clay technique and am not very good at it. That is why I admire designers who have the patience to create intricate canes.

However, this polymer clay tutorial by Clay Zoo, a Korean crafter, is much more my style. The cane is created from completely random cuts of polymer clay! No planning required.  Sweet!

He uses the Fimo brand of clay for all his tutorials.

This particular example resembles a flower. But canes will turn out to be one of a kind.  The tutorial is useful for beginners as blending techniques are demonstrated.

H/T to Aims of BigBlueBarnDesigns for this tip.
