The Chicago area based wire artist behind 4GirlsJewelry shares several lovely wire wrapped copper jewelry tutorials on her Youtube channel.
This wire wrap bracelet design of hers is versatile because it is a modular approach to jewelry design. You can change up sections of this combination bangle-bracelet to make the design unique.
The main tutorial shows a round frame around the herringbone wrapped focal but she also shows a finished variation with a stylish square frame. The heart focal is also a lovely alternative.
The foundation wire is 16G which is harder for beginners but copper is indeed a soft tempered wire so that will help.
