I've featured both book jewelry and miniatures before. These kinds of designs still amaze me!  I admire those who can condense a larger object into something which can be made into jewelry. Here are some awesome examples which are perfect for book lovers and reading enthusiasts! They all were made using different materials and techniques.  A great gift for the librarian you might know!

First up is the amazing book hair barrette shown above. The hair clip designer is Brittany of BrittsHighlights who makes all kinds of hair jewelry.

These adorable polymer clay bookshelf earrings complete with tiny book spines is the work of Canadian designer, Bethany of LupinandFig. Bethany has a wonderfully imaginative shop!

Nothing says more that you like books than this laser cut heart wood shelves with tiny books!  The designer is Jessica of truelifeconcepts.

These printed acrylic earrings are so colorful! The designer is Tami of RumorsRunWild.

Growing up, books were very much a part of my life. I read as many books as I could get my hands on. So books were very precious indeed.  I am still an avid reader today.

Just watch this amazing video on how book restorer, author, educator,  Sophie Bogle, takes apart a very old first edition book, refurbishes, reassemblies and thus restores them to their former glory.  The initial deconstruction is so unnerving that she no longer has clients witness this!  Amazing patience and skill!
