I am not at all certain why North Carolina based bead artist, Kassie Shaw, of BeadingButterflyShop named her shop that way. I'd like to think that she is so creative and accomplished, she is able to flit like a butterfly from different styles, beadweaving stitches and from beginner to really advanced designs.
I featured her before but like a lot of talented and productive designers, I love to circle back and showcase the other designs I missed before.
Some of Kassie's most popular designs are those with swirls like the Chinese dragon bracelet below and the easy pair of whirligig earrings further along.
There is something for everyone who beads! She has some advanced projects including a complex bugle bead ball ornament which encases several 18 mm rivolis. Also of note is her use of circular peyote to create a dish or bowl with a compass design.

I love her designs! I've made several, like the Whirligig bracelet, and found her instructions to be clear and easy to follow.
ReplyDeleteEveryone knows this very talented young lady. I remember the famous "Vortices Earrings". My beading group was so anxious to get their hands on the pattern. She is wonderful.
