Sometimes I wish long hair suited me because hair jewelry can be so pretty for formal occasions as well as practical for when hair needs to be up and out of the way.

The design reminds us of hanfu or traditional Chinese dress. In those days, women had long hair and if they were rich enough, styled elaborately and decorated with pins such as these.
