Now that last season's peak selling season is over, it's time to prepare for the year ahead. An attractive setup is key to drawing visitors to your craft show table. Your jewelry should also be visible so taking advantage of the vertical space is necessary. The displays should be light and ideally flat packed to make transportation easier.

There are many ways you can make displays yourself (see links below) but the rising popularity and availability of laser cut wood ones gives us even more attractive and functional choices.  The wood can be personalized with engraving and can be stained or colored according to individual tastes. They are quick and easy to assemble and disassemble.

Shown here some of my favorites from creative laser cutting designers. These are just digital files, not actual products. The most common thickness of wood used is 3 mm or approximately 1/8 inch. Some designs require 6 mm or 1/4 inch. Also check the size of the final product to see if it suits what you have in mind and more crucially, if it can be cut in the laser cutter you are using. Birch or bass wood is best, pricewise.

The most cost effective way of making your own laser cut wood displays is to purchase the files and get the wood cut at a local laser cutting studio. This will save a lot on shipping as you might want to have more than one display. Many libraries like the one in my city, now have Makerspace studios equipped with laser cutters if you do not own one. There is usually technical help available.

The lovely pale wood one shown above is from CutwoodCo which is based in New Zealand. I like the pegs with which you can hang earring cards.

TrendyDesignsOnline has a nifty double panel style which will fit quite nicely into a corner. You probably could have these attached with hinges.

ByLaser has free standing units with rounded tops where you can have your shop name or logo engraved.

ByLaser also has this tri-fold one where the adjustable pegs can be placed at different heights to accommodate earrings, keychains or even necklaces of varying lengths.

BrightlyStudio has an extendable display stand with many variants and in 3 different sizes. This one makes it easy to customize the display to suit your needs.

This 3 bar display design is by BelaCollective. You can use it for your own earrings collection as well!

The front of your craft table could display some of the smaller items like studs. This flat rack style design file is by SilverLining15

Those of you who sell online have another kind of display other than live models or mannequins. These are laser cut wood displays with measurements (in metric and imperial) engraved on one side. This helps the potential customer to understand how long the earrings are, with just a glance.

mekalacrafts has a lovely profile stand where the background can be colored differently and making the display stand out. Omit the measurement markings and it will make for a craft show stand as well.

The arch earring display stand from BelaCollective suits dainty earrings design. I like how acrylic is cut for the base.

Not keen on arches?  There is this simple rectangular earrings stand design file from HandmadByNatalieC
