Remember the wire mandalas from the 1990's which were fun to manipulate into many different designs? Well, they are back with the handmade work of Canadian wire artisan, Cyrus of MerakiSphere.

He makes them out of different colored beads with tarnish resistant brass and stainless steel. He is incredibly skilful at his craft. He can put one together blindfolded as you can see from his video in one of his listings. Cyrus uses dozens of lengths of wire for each design.

These spheres can be used as easy to put on as convertible bangles, hair jewelry,  fidget toys as they can be manipulated into shapes, and even as ornaments.  They are great sensory activity gadgets for the classroom, too.  May I add, lots of fun too!

See my past feature if you are game to try making one for yourself and to learn the meanings of the shapes. Strong fingers and good tools are needed as the wire has to be thick or stiff enough like stainless steel to be able to stay in shape.
