Wire wrapped bat jewelry is uncommon.  So I was especially delighted when I came across Jocelyn D.'s wonderful wire wrapped Halloween bat earrings tutorial over on Youtube. These are about 1 ¼ inch at the widest point i.e. wing tip to wing tip.  Well scaled for earrings but will need time and patience to make.  A really elegant pair to wear for Halloween!

Jocelyn often makes striking Celtic style jewelry for her shop, Fantasia Elegance.  She generously shared how she makes her Celtic Braid Earrings in this tutorial. It is an ingenious design because it is made up of two separate wire dangles!

Is it safe to talk about snow now?  After the past terrible winter - at least for some of us - the last thing we want to see is the fluffy white stuff again.  But perhaps you will make an exception for this amazing wire wrapped snowflake pendant tutorial!  The designer and instructor is Jocelyn of Fantasia Elegance.

Jocelyn of Fantasia Elegance is not just an accomplished wire worker but she also generously shares some really lovely wire jewelry tutorials.  The first is the 5 Strand Celtic Wire Braided Cuff  design which is easy enough for beginners.  I love how she left gaps to create this open wire design unlike most wire braiding I have seen.. The technique will remind you of French braided hair! But I think working with wire is easier than hair!

Faceted tear drop briolettes are really pretty shapes to use in jewelry designs.  Check out this easy wire work earrings tutorial by Jocelyn who is also the designer behind Fantasia Elegance. The actual tutorial is done with side drilled briolettes.

There are so many ways to depict an angel in wire.  Here is another, a lovely tutorial from Jocelyn of FantasiaElegance. She is a wire artist from Virginia who designs simple yet elegant wire jewelry.  I have shared her other tutorials before (see links below).

Jocelyn uses 20 G soft wire - a good choice as the wire temper makes it easier to twist and the gauge lends itself well to a dainty look.

The fleur-de-lis, a stylized lily or iris, has been used in European heraldry for centuries.  It is particularly associated with the French monarchy.  The three petals supposedly represent the 3 medieval classes - "those who worked, those who fought and those who prayed."  It is a beautiful symbol, one which lends itself very well to jewelry designs.
