Okay, I confess I once put on a Sesame Street band aid because we'd run out of the regular kind. It was either that or bleed all over the chopped carrots. So I do appreciate this blinged out grown up version which suits jewelry artisans nicely. You don't have to have a boo-boo to wear the Swarovski Bling Band Aid either. Just an obsession with all things Swarovski! These were designed by Fabian Seibert. I had seen them before a year or so ago but they weren't easily available until recently. The band aid comes in sets of 3 each sporting 4 Swarovski crystals of different colors. The presentation box slides open to reveal the special band aid. The product costs $12. That's $4 per band aid. Ouch!

I too admit I love all things Swarovski! It shows in most of my jewelry designs. Although I'll admit I would never have thought of a band-aid. :-) But I'd certainly wear it too!

ReplyDeleteIf the band-aids were sterile and wrapped separately, I might wear one if I had an owie. But someone would have to give it to me because I wouldn't pay that much. But as jewelry alone? Not for me. :)

ReplyDeleteI agree with Cindy. Way too much for someone like me, constantly scraping knuckles in dirt and suffering the accidents of two young boys! But it would make an awesome sympathy gift for someone.
