Even if you do not normally make recycled jewelry, attempting to do some will be excellent exercises to flex your creativity muscles. Look at uncommon items and ask yourself how you could change it into something pretty to wear.

ReplyDeleteI really like the look of the faux tortoise shell combs used in the featured piece as it mimics true tortoise shell. Tortoise are either a protected or an endangered species and I believe the use of their shells is still banned, so this would be a wonderful and guilt free way to add the look of their shell in one's jewelry. Most clever.
