I've covered tassel earrings before (see below).  But this stunning pair from Preciosa-Ornela is worth a look. It's not just the wonderful charlotte beads' ombre color scheme but the clever way in which each tassel is put together.


The row of beaded lengths of thread are first attached to a strip of ribbon. The latter is then rolled up and inserted and glued into the bead caps. How easy is that?

S-lon thread is used which should give the tassels lots of soft movements.  Fireline would be too stiff.

For newbies, charlottes are seedbeads with usually 1 facet or flat side.
