Texture plates are awesome for polymer clay work.  If you've used them before, you will know that it often hard to isolate a particular pattern for use in smaller pieces.  Note : you cannot use regular stamps like those clear acrylic ones often used for scrapbooking and other crafts - you need the reverse where the polymer clay is raised in a particular pattern.

Rebecca of Artybecca solved the problem and created just the right stamps she wanted for small polymer beads.  Her tutorial shows how to make these "chalkboard beads".  You can see why she calls them chalkboard as the color effects do look like the surface of a traditional chalk board.

She also shares where to have your own stamp designs made.

You can purchase her stamps and handmade beads through her Etsy store, Artybecca.
