Bead embroidery is such a beautiful art form. One artisan who does take it to a higher level is Irina who is one of the designers behind Crochet OK Studio. This Ukrainian artist definitely dares to be different.
One of my most favorite pieces from her collection is her crystal beaded watch brooch. Such a wonderful take on the old fashioned men's pocket watch.
She also creates many bird brooches, especially hummingbirds. Some of her designs incorporate chenille alongside seed and bugle beads.
Irina does offer custom pet brooch designs where she uses much more chenille.
