Samantha Burroughs of JessamaDesign  is an Australian polymer clay jewelry designer and supplier. I featured her wonderful store before. I particularly love her unique polymer clay cutters especially the one she has to make a collar or bib necklace!  It is a great way to show off your canes!

Her tutorial on how to actually make the collar is full of tips.  What is so neat is how she uses a regular necklace display to help mold the collar so it will better fit a person.

She also demonstrates how to use a hot air gun to prebake the clay to make it a little stiffer.  This makes it possible to then bake it with some support in the oven. You cannot bake the plastic display!

She uses the display a second time when the necklace comes out of the oven. She adjusts the curve by molding the necklace while it is still hot!

She has a number of different styles of polymer clay collar cutters here.
