Miniature Origami Jewelry by The Green Bunny

I was visiting family in Ottawa, Canada when I got to go to that city's Geek Market. That was where I stumbled upon Eloise Pare of Montreal's work. She is the artisan behind TheGreenBunny. She makes miniature origami jewelry! The smaller of the two roses above measures just 1/4" x 3/16".

Many of her pieces are in small glass bell jar pendant findings. As you can see from her craft booth below, Eloise does make bigger ornaments.  I love her rose creations which remind me of the one featured in Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

But what fascinated me was her ability to fold really tiny origami. The mind boggles how she manages to do that from a starting square this small!

  1. What a great discovery you made that day!

I simply can't imagine working with something that small. My fingers would feel huge and clumsy!
