Ivy Niles is the Nebraskan polymer clay artist behind ikandiclay where her amazing canes rock! It has been a while since I first featured her kaleidoscopic canes. So to my delight, Ivy's been coming out with new designs since then.
My favorites were the "treasure trove" ones where the designs resemble gemstones! I love how she created the glow opalescent gemstones.
Her talent and creativity doesn't stop there. If you explore her store, you will come across her peacock collection, mandalas and some delightful translucent clay dragon fly wings!
One lucky winner of this week's $30 gift certificate giveaway from ikandiclay will get to choose some lovely and unique canes!

Very pretty! Would be nice for a bracelet.
ReplyDeleteIvy rocks when it comes to making canes! I got her owl canes and I simply love them. They are perfect tiny owls.
ReplyDeleteScolling through her website is a lesson in restraint as all her canes are incredible! Not only that but her service is very fast - something I appreciate.
I'm not a big cane maker and being able to buy them ready-made is a treat as making a cane is so time consuming. I can't imagine how long Ivy spends making just one cane, especially with the amount of detail she puts into each and every one of them.
If you are polymer clay artist her canes are definitely worth it.
WOW! What AWESOME designs I would love to win thanks for the chance to win this!

ReplyDeleteJust AMAZING! I am at home now because of health problems, so I am spending more time at my bead bench & working with polymer clay. That being said, I can't imagine making anything that could ever compare to these exquisite canes. They are stunning!
