Several years ago, I came up with a tutorial for beadwork on filigree metal stampings. However, the polymer clay folks over on Sculpey people come out with special lacy molds to create similar styled stampings.
Amy Koranek designed this pretty triple lace earrings tutorial. The actual tutorial is no longer available but do check this video tutorial which shows how to use the liquid clay with molds.
She used liquid sculpey which is NOT the same thing as transparent polymer clay. You can pour liquid Sculpey into molds.
She used 3 different mold designs available from the Sculpey mold kit. So if epoxy resin is not your thing, try using liquid polymer clay on shallow molds like these.
H/T Aims of BigBlueBarnDesigns for this find.

ReplyDeleteso delicate! are they sturdier than they look? I've not seen liquid polymer clay, is it brittle?
