I don't know about you but I have an overflowing collection of embroidery floss as well as crochet cotton. All of which needs using up! Some of you with yarn collections are probably nodding your heads, too.
So this tutorial by Creations and You might just be the ticket to whittle said collections down.. a little!
The color scheme is up to you. Consider single hues or ombre ones. Note that large aluminum chains are very light and inexpensive.
The second tutorial also by the same designer doesn't involve chains but the braiding incorporates large hole metal beads.

clever use of that embroidery thread just taking up space! I bet it's soft against the skin, and lightweight too.
ReplyDeleteWow, wow WOW! Love the tuts, super idea! I have several bundles of crochet thread (boxes of them!) that I've been wondering what to do with - this will be a fun and fascinating project to try. Thanks, Pearl!
