She has another tutorial I love which shows how to make polymer clay cell cabochons using DecoArt Fluid Media Interference Acrylics. You can see a full list of supplies in the video's info section.
The shiny effect is achieved with resin. Alison used UV resin but regular epoxy resin will work as well. UV resin is more expensive than the latter so it pays to wait!
