Like the look of metal bezels but not so keen on soldering?  This marvelous tutorial by Gloria Uhler of Domestic-DivaOnline shows how you can achieve that style combining metal strips and polymer clay.

She cleverly bends a metal strip to form both the bail and bezel of the pendant.  This is then used to cut out the polymer clay. The polymer clay is adhered to the metal with liquid clay before baking.

I also love her fun use of alcohol inks for the clay.

She also applied strips of clay to the metal strips for the earrings. Neat!
