I have found so many owl tutorials over many years. Yet, designers like Oxana of OxanaCrafts still manage to delight with her refreshingly adorable gemstone and wire work owl pendant tutorial.
As you can see from the picture, her design works for both round and heart shaped gemstones.
She has managed to keep the design fairly open so that the gemstone is not overly obscured. This is such an excellent design because she makes full use of loops to form the eyes and enough wire wrapping to keep the shape together. Little details like the owl's beak and tufts are well done.
