The Estonian wire work designer behind Suzy Wong Studio scored again with this contemporary wire wrapped beaded ring tutorial

She does make it look easy but it takes practice to be able to make consistently even 90 degree turns with the 20 G square wire. Both the turns and the square wire gives the ring its modern look.

She uses bent nose pliers which can alleviate hand fatigue. However, you might find broad or flat nose pliers like this one much more helpful.  If you like the width of the plier end, then using it to make consistent 90 degree bends becomes easier.

A fair amount of hammering is needed to flatten and shape the ring around the mandrel.

The wire wrapped beads - she used tourmaline - add color to the ring. But the wire wrapping also serves to join the ends of the wire frame  as well as help keep the ring shape together.
