I've featured a number of artisans who use recycled vintage tin containers as their material of choice. But US artisan, Sarah Shoot of SarahShoot makes her distinctive one of a kind jewelry from reclaimed barn tin from her farm!

She handpaints the hand cut pieces of tin in a bold style which reminds me of folk art. Rustic and colorful, each and everyone of them.  Sarah often layers her crafted bits to great effect. She even offers "bits" packages (see the last image below) or add-ons for buyers who wish to change up their earrings. What a neat thing to offer.

Sarah explains :
I am a gatherer of all things fiber or rusty. My mixed media earrings are MADE TO ORDER ♡. This means the photos of the earring styles listed are examples. The pair you order will be handmade for you specially, so it's one of a kind 💜 this also means that if you want different ear wires or made smaller or larger, just let me know! Each pair starts with reclaimed barn tin found on our farm. I hand cut, paint, sand, collage and seal each pair. I strive to use up-cycled materials whenever possible.
