British polymer clay designer, Fiona Abel-Smith of PolyOriginals is an incredible artist. I have featured some of her tutorials before.

She also has a Youtube channel. That's how I came across her Garden Flower Pot Inspired Art Brooch tutorial. I knew from previous tutorials how good she was at using polymer clay to form jewelry designs. But this brooch is one of her best!

She uses up small amounts of clay in a large number of colors. She makes tiny canes for the flowers and leaves. I like how she created a border for the brooch using a popular technique. She also has another good tip on how to get the brooch finding aligned so you are not going to wear the brooch crooked.  Nice way to insert the brooch finding and get rid of fingerprints from the back of the piece!~
