Janani Mitchel from Texas, the polymer clay artist behind Fern&MitchHandmade on Youtube is a whizz at making flowers. This 3D flower earrings tutorial shows her versatility in making tiny little blooms and leaves. She also has other floral tutorials on her channel.
I love how she used polymer clay stamps to imprint designs for the background - she first dipped them into mica powder.
