Tis the season! I have found some lovely angel jewelry and ornaments before, but those made by Virginian Debra Havens of AngelicEleganceShop lives up to the name! Her wire angels and other ornaments are delicate, almost like they were sketches.
I love how she made the central angel with beads, wire weaving and wire coils. Debra also makes poinsettias, a simple Christmas star, candle holders, garlands as well as a clever manger in her signature style.
She does offer just one wire angel tutorial if anyone wants to learn how to make an angel wire ornament.

Beautiful talent. I had a beautiful angel tree topper all picked out (took me an hour or more) only to find out they do not deliver to Canada. I'm finding out more and more people from other countries do not want the hassle with shipping to Canada. Maybe next year I will try to make one. LOL
ReplyDeleteThat's a thought, Marge! Have fun next year! It's really about the cost of shipping across the border (either way) - shoppers don't want to pay the higher shipping fee.
DeleteThose are exquisite and so very novel. Love them.
ReplyDeleteI made a number of very similar angels to that first one about 15 years ago. They sit with my collection of angels in one of my bathrooms and I always think I should make more. Perhaps a tree topper this year? ;0)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love these! I don't usually make holiday themed stuff but these angels deserve a second thought :)
ReplyDeleteThese are just stunning and so delicate! Lovely!!
